I finally booked our trip to FL! We've been wanting to go for a few months, but Husband couldn't get time off until now. His team leader told him to take any week in May, so I asked my boss when was best, and we got it scheduled!
I was planning to go for 2 nights, but Husband wanted 3, which I can definitely handle. ;) We've been to Panama City twice already, but this time we're going to Fort Walton Beach. It's pretty much due south of us, on the gulf.
I'm hoping that we can also stop and see our friends at Ft. Rucker in southern Alabama. I met my friend online on my Army wives forum, and we've met in person several times since then. But Husband has always been gone! So this time my fingers are crossed that he can meet my friend and her husband.
