Eeek! I'm so happy right now. I suppose this is commercialism and capitalism at it's best (worst?).
I go to Starbucks a lot. As in, at least once a day.
I have several of my own tumblers that I bought there. I have one for Valentine's Day, for summer, for winter and for spring. You get the picture.
But... all of those are only 16oz, for grande drinks. And none have their own straw.
And now!!! I have a 20oz/venti cup with it's own straw!
They came out with these cups last year, and I always looked at them but never bought one. And I always regretted it. I heard through the grapevine that the cold cups might be back on May 4th, and was all set to ask my barrista when I went it today.
When I pulled up to the drive through window... Betsy had a cup ready to sell me! She said they got the cups in last night. I love my Starbucks. The barristas there are awesome.
Now I can get venti drinks without having a plastic cup and straw to throw away. I'm in heaven. :)
